Blog Post #2: Kindle & Audiobook Are LIVE! Plus, Roadblocks and Revelations

Hello everyone,

I worked late tonight to finish this and now, I'm thrilled to share some exciting progress on the book front! After navigating the inevitable twists and turns of the publishing world, I'm overjoyed to announce that:

1. The 2nd Edition Kindle version of the book is now officially available on Amazon!
2. The Audiobook version is ready for listening on Ko-fi! You can also Click here to play a sample of the audiobook.

It’s been quite the journey getting these versions finalized, especially dealing with the intricacies of different platforms. My recent experiences working through Amazon Publishing highlighted some challenges regarding their policies and pricing structures for print editions. It became clear that for the physical copies of the book, Amazon wasn't the path I wanted to pursue moving forward, despite its reach.

Just a couple of days ago, I was feeling some disappointment about hitting roadblocks with the print side of things via Amazon. But isn't it fascinating how setbacks often turn out to be blessings in disguise? What felt like a hurdle has actually clarified the direction for the print version (more updates on that as it develops!) and solidified the paths for the digital and audio versions. It's a powerful reminder that sometimes, what looks like a roadblock is actually a pivot point, guiding us towards something even better or more aligned with our goals.

Speaking of life lessons and perspective shifts, I had a thought-provoking conversation with a friend recently. We were talking about the future, touching on "the last days and the coming millennial reign of the Lord." He mused:

"Imagine what it will be like when we don't have to worry about when someone gets ahead of another, or who's the best."

It struck me profoundly, and I replied:

"But what's stopping us from doing that right now? Making comparisons between ourselves and others, feeling envy when someone seems 'ahead' or pride when we perceive ourselves as 'better', isn't really useful, is it? Those comparisons often stem from envy and pride. But if we focus on developing purity of heart and the virtue of spirit, we diminish the power of envy and pride. We can choose right now to step away from those uncharitable comparisons and focus on our own path and progress with humility and integrity. It’s a choice available to us in this very moment, not something we have to wait for external circumstances to change."

So, while the journey to get the print hard copies finalized continues, I am truly happy and incredibly excited that the Kindle version (in its improved 2nd edition!) and the brand new Audiobook are available for you to experience. Getting the message out in these formats feels like a wonderful milestone.

I am incredibly excited and deeply humbled to welcome you to ChristlikeIntelligence.life! For a long time, the principles and insights that form the foundation of this work have been developing, guided by the Spirit, and tested through personal experience and walking alongside others. Seeing this website finally live, ready to serve as a hub for this journey, feels like a significant and joyful milestone.

Alongside the website launch, I'm thrilled to share that the Audible version of the **Second Edition** of **How to Optimize Your Emotionally Dynamic Life by Unleashing 7 Christlike Superpowers** is currently in review with Amazon, nearing its release! Creating this audiobook has been a labor of love and refinement, and I can't wait for you to experience these principles through listening.

This launch also marks an important personal step for me. Many of you might know that the first edition of the print and Kindle versions was published under the pen name Adam K. Eagleheart. While that name served its purpose, I feel strongly prompted now to step fully into the light and take complete **Sovereign Accountability** for this work under my own name, **Kelly L. Call**. This is me, owning the stewardship I feel called to.

Navigating this change on platforms like Amazon KDP presents some practical challenges—changing author names on already published print books with assigned ISBNs isn't straightforward, and it's one hurdle I'm currently working through. Please be patient as I navigate this transition. My commitment is to ensure consistency across all formats moving forward.

The second challenge relates to the content itself. In the process of creating the Audible version, inspired by continued guidance and refinement, I added several important insights, clarifications, and expansions that are **not** present in the currently available First Edition print and Kindle versions. Therefore, the upcoming Audible release represents the most current and complete **Second Edition**.

My immediate next step is to diligently go back and **upgrade the Kindle, paperback, and hardcover versions on Amazon to this Second Edition status**, ensuring they perfectly match the richness and excellence of the Audible content. I will also be putting significant attention into **improving the formatting** of the print versions, as the first edition was a more direct upload from draft documents. This polishing-up process is essential, and I appreciate your understanding as I undertake it.

Throughout this recent creative process, I've immensely enjoyed the companionship of AI tools like Gemini 2.5 and Microsoft Copilot. Engaging with these models has been fascinating, acting not just as writing assistants but as partners in exploring complex ideas—a theme you’ll find woven into the **Afterword** of the book. This experience fuels my vision for the future: customizing an AI grounded specifically in the 7 governing emotional dynamics outlined in the book.
