Helpers & Practitioners

Help people grow without shame or coercion

People who help others grow face difficult questions.

How much should I expect from this person?

When does support become enabling?

How do I preserve agency without abandoning accountability?

How do I correct without humiliating?

How do I distinguish incapacity from refusal?

How do I set boundaries while retaining charity?

The Seven Governing Dynamics offers a developmental map for asking those questions more carefully.

Capacity-fitted respondability

A central principle is:

Expectation should be fitted to actual capacity while development works to enlarge that capacity.

The goal is neither to over-responsibilize people nor to remove meaningful participation from them.

The restorative developmental cycle is:

Truthful assessment → capacity-fitted expectation → nourishment/support → meaningful participation → observable development → progressively enlarged respondability.

A framework for helpers

This pathway is being developed for:

The framework is intended to help helpers distinguish capacity, agency, authority, accountability, boundaries, correction, relationship, discernment, and teachability.
